Evaluation, management, and economic potential of preserving high quality leguminous hay in the Virgin Islands.  University of the Virgin Islands Agriculture Experiment Station HATCH grant. October, 2002.

Impact of Fermenter Bottom Effluent Application Rates on Biomass Production, Nutritive Value, and Environmental Parameters in the U.S. Virgin Islands.  September, 2002.  Awarded $30,000 - $15,000 by SERB and $15,000 In-Kind match.

Sustainable and Profitable Control of Invasive Species by Small Ruminants Submitted Oct. 30, 2004 to USDA-SARE with Dr. Jim Muir (PI) of the Texas Agriculture     Experiment Station -Stephenville. Awarded: $178,000 over 3 years.

Evaluation of Alternative and Conventional Small Ruminant finishing systems for the tropics. Submitted October 30, 2004 to USDA-TSTAR.  Awarded:  $200,000 over 3 years.

Smart Drenching and FAMACHA Integrated Training for Sustainable Control of Gastrointestinal Nematodes in Small Ruminants.  S. Mobini (PI) & S. A. Weiss (Co-PI).  Southern SARE Professional Development Program.  Awarded $6,500 to the University of the Virgin Islands Agriculture Research Station.

Crop Diversification Complexity and Pest and Beneficial Organism Communities in Humid Tropical and Sub-Tropical Climatic Regimes.  Submitted Dec. 20, 2005 to USDA-CREES-IOP in cooperation with Carlene Chase (PI) of the University of Florida, the University of the Virgin Islands, and the Virgin Islands Sustainable Farm Institute.  In Review.
